  • Can I get it bigger? Yes, the building can be added to in four foot increments.
  • Can I assemble this if I have no experience? Yes, if you can put together a barbeque, you can put this together, as long as you can lift your half of a 100 pound panel.
  • What if I want it to have the same finish as my house? No problem, order the basic unit and have the same finish installed.
  • Do I need a concrete pad? No - the unit can sit on four or six blocks, the insulated floor is on top of a pressure treated base assembly.
  • Can I take the unit if I move? Absolutely, the unit is made to be re-tasked.
  • How secure is the unit? As secure as your house. If you have an alarm, your alarm company can usually hook it up.
  • Can two or more units be joined? Yes, if ordered simultaneously, there are also cost savings.
  • Could I put in a bathroom? Depending on your services, usually the answer is yes.
  • Will it be warm/cold? Due to SIP technology, the unit can be heated with an inexpensive small space heater, and in intense heat, cooled with a very small air conditioner.
  • Can I use the base unit without any options? Absolutely yes! You can add all of your own finishes as well, at any time.
  • Is the unit strong enough for shelves? The unit is as strong as your house, so just as you would on any wall, add proper fasteners/reinforcements and you can support most loads.
  • Could I move the unit without taking it apart? The unit without anything in it weighs just over a ton, so you may need equipment to move it without disassembly.
  • What is SIP? SIP is a building technology that is well established, using two layers of Oriented Strand Board with structural styrofoam in a sandwich. The product is very strong, light and super insulative.
